What's the point of people eating salad when they often drown it in dressings and bury it with cheese and meat?
It could be healthier if they are following a low carb diet such as South Beach. You are still supposed to limit fats but the cheese & meat are okay because they are protein. On the other hand, you don't know what worse things they would eat if they didn't get the salad. Most folks thought are kidding themselves. That isn't real healthy. That would be adding real oil and vinegar, skipping either meat or cheese, adding some nuts or sunflower seeds, and sticking mostly with veggies.
