So.......Should I Do It?

so, there's this girl i see in the hallways of my school. i don't know her, but i find her to be pretty adorable. i was thinking about growing some +, before we leave school, ask her if i could talk to her, pull her aside, do the whole "hi. i'm erika" thing, and then.....i don't know. i wanna approach her without seeming like a creeper or whatever, ya know? so i don't wanna say something possibly.....uncomfortable/awkward? idon'tknow. not to mention, i'm not even sure if she's gay. hell, i have a gut feeling she is; she has a short, black boyish cut, dresses slightly boyishly- kind of androgynous. i'm just a little uneasy about HOW to approach her. help?
